Vestigium, translating to footprint in Latin, is a visual mapping of the spatial experience inside some of the worlds most beautiful museums and galleries. Choosing to represent the ‘negative spaces’ within the buildings we wanted to create a simple representation of the variety of public architecture, and the diversity of thought behind the concepts. Selecting buildings that offered a clear distinction between inside and out, closed and open, or free movement vs restricted movement, the final product offers a rich assortment of forms that pay homage to the refined creativity of public architecture.
